Facebook Page Permission

Facebook Page Permissions

Step 2:

Share your facebook page permissions with us.

Create A New Page: If you do not have a page, choose this option.

Request Access To A Page: If your business already has a page, however if your current facebook account is not the account that was the one who CREATED the page, select this option.

Add A Page: If your personal facebook account is the one who created the page, then select this option.

Permissions

Facebook is quite confusing at first when navigating its permissions sections.

Keep in mind that facebook sees each assset of your business manager differently. These are seen as different assets and permissions have to be assigned to them separately.

-Facebook Page

-Instagram Account

-Pixel

-Ad Account

(eg. being admin of your ad account means you are admin of your instagram account)

You must assign permissions to them individually.

 Business Settings (Gear Icon)

In this dashboard you will see who is assigned to exactly what asset.

You can also assign people to specific assets you have control over.

 Sharing your facebook page

You must be an admin/creator of your facebook . page to be able to share permission to a page via a 3rd party.

You can see who owns the page by going to your page > settings > page roles.

Setting Up FB Pixel

Step 5: Set Up Your Pixel

Your pixel is the data collection piece of your website. No technical code or knowledge is required from you.

Facebook Pixel

The facebook pixel is a line of code on your website that tracks all your website visitors actions.

This allows your audiences to get retargetd in the future while also collecting data about your customers to find more suitable in-market audiences.

If you are installing your pixel for the first time

Ensure the pixel is firing by using the chrome pixel plugin, the link can be found HERE.

Take Note

One pixel can be shared across multiple ad accounts. If you are running the same store, you can share the data from one pixel across ad accounts.

There is no need to create multiple pixels for separate ad accounts if you are running the same store.
